The Amplifier (s/n 7026) was built in Mid to Late 1966 by Marshall Amplification.

The Amp was sold to Jimi Hendrix on October 8th 1966 There is a photo taken 10 days later in Paris and we have Photographic evidence that the Amp was also the one he used at the Monterey Pop Festival in 67 and other Gig's from that tour.

Another photo we found was from The Marquee Club, London on March 2nd 1967 and then another from the 14th Nov 67 at the Royal Albert Hall, London. It is true to say that this Amp is well travelled and was with Jimi during the Best and Most Important Shows of his life.

Interesting point's we have noted from these old photos and other evidence is that this Amp has always been No1 in the chain. It is common knowledge that Jimi had favourites where kit was concerned so we can assume 7026 was a favourite for some time, and was used for the studio and live recording’s throughout this time and later.

Rich bought this Amp in 1971 after seeing it advertised in Melody Maker, he paid £65 plus postage making a total cost of £70.

Marshall Amplification PLC have kindly built us an exact electrical replica of our amp including the modifications to use during our Tour's. This Amp is one of a kind and has 'THAT TONE'  like the original but of course without the MOJO !
